So I have a female lion face bunny of about six months of age, I got her since she was around one month old, she is usually very quiet and well behaved, always doing binkys and running around my room. I always leave her out of her cage to roam freely around the room, she is litter trained so I leave her out of the cage no problem. But lately she has started to poop and pee everywhere, also she is now thumping ,which she had  never done before. Usually now she just follows me around the room all day leaving droplets of poop everywhere on her path. I always pet her and play with her but lately she is demanding a lot of attention. I was wondering if someone could tell me if this is just a stage or if her change in behavior is something I should be concerned about. She is not spayed yet, so I was wondering if that could be it? Any helpful advice would be greatly apreciated.

Could be she’s not spayed (get her spayed as soon as you can, for health and behavioral reasons).

Could also be something like stasis. I would go to the vet if she isn’t eating, or drinking.

Thanks, I already made an apointment with the vet for next week to get her spayed. But she is eating well and drinking water as usual so atleast I think she has no health related problems.

My guess would be a change in her hormones making her act this way since she’s unspayed. But yeah, definitely keep an eye out for signs of lethargy, not pooping, and not eating.
