Only list of practices I could find that seem treat rabbits. However I’m not sure of the credibility of any of these..

Thanks for the list. It looks like the closest one is two hours from where I’ll be moving. There ARE vets where I’ll be living, but not sure to what extent they deal with rabbits. I could probably just call and ask some standard questions and see if they “pass”. lol

              Hi meow1 !
              How’s Sunny & Doggy?

I’ve PMd a couple Bunspace profiles I found of members in Walla Walla. Maybe you could contact them for a recommendation? I’ve not been able to find much else.
I think most HRS chapters have facebook pages now also. So asking on there might help.

Thanks Jerseygirl, the links you sent work and I’ll contact those members. I’ll also check out the HRS on Facebook as suggested.

Sunny is doing great! He’ll be 4 in 2 weeks I think!

I suppose I never posted that my great dane died in June of last year…she was going on nearly a year of having osteosarcoma. She also had spondylosis (arthritis in her spine) and it got to the point where she could no longer get up one day so I made the tough decision to have the vet come.

We do have another doggy now, he’s a little over a year old, he’s a cardigan welsh corgi. He thinks Sunny is funny and he tries to lick Sunny and Sunny hates it lol. His name is Rhys (pronounced like Rees). Sunny boxes him on his head if he gets too annoyed with Rhys, so I have to watch those two carefully, I don’t want his eyes scratched by a prissy bun! lol. We never had these issues with Sophie (great dane). She was so relaxed around Sunny, and Sunny was very comfortable around her, of course Sunny was raised around her though, and she was mindful and listened about laying down when Sunny was around.

Oh I’m sorry about Sophie! I remember seeing the videos of her and Sunny together. That must have been difficult to say goodbye. I think being able to have the vet come to the home is such a good option. Again, I’m sorry for your loss.

Such a difference going from a Dane to a Corgi! I wonder if Sunny thinks he’s a bunny?

haha…I think Rhys’s barking has let Sunny know he’s not a bunny.lol They are funny together though!
