Okay so I’ve had Zuess, my nearly 3 month old minilop for about about 4 weeks now and he’s done fine, settled in perfectly fine, but just recently he’s changed.
It’s like he’s become scared of me, he used to enjoy pets, but now when ever I go to pet him he runs. When I used to open his cage door he would come up to the door and greet me and wanting to come out, now when I open his door he runs to the corner of his cage.
A friend of mine suggested that I try to start hand feeding him pellets and see how it goes, I started by feeding a few through his cage and he was fine, but the second I opened his door he ran to the far corner and wouldn’t take pellets from my hand. It like the past 2-3 days it’s just gone backwards, like day one of having him.

Was there anything that happened to him? Any other animals that may have ran at him or loud noises that may have stunned him? That is interesting. My baby did change a little bit but that was around 10 months or whatever age they are at when they want babies ha. But after she was spayed she was friendly again.

It sounds like something spooked him, though it is also the age when baby personality switches to adult personality. Do you ever reach into the cage to get him? That can spook them.

My cat has been in but this was awhile ago, nothing out of the ordinary that would of “spooked him” but today i guess hes back to normal, i woke up to him doing binkys on his platform and when i opened his cage door he can up and greeted me as i gave him fresh hay and pellets.
