Porky has not eaten or pooped enough today, so I’m staying up all night keeping an eye on him.  He did eat all his parsley when I told him I’d be calling the vet in the morning if he didn’t start eating and pooping some more by then.  He pooped a bit too, but not enough to make me happy.

So, I’m up all night watching old episodes of an Australian TV show on hulu. My own little Sea Patrol marathon/bunny poop watch.

At least I slept late this morning, well really yesterday morning, so I’m awake enough to drive to the vet if I need to in a few hours.

I’ve def been there with the “bunny all nighters”! Hopefully just a touch of tummy upset like gas and nothing serious. (((((Porky))))

He finished off a second helping of pellets, and there is poop. So I won’t stress him out with another trip to the vet so soon after the last one.

He seems to be annoyed that I’ve been waking him up every 15 minutes or so all night long. I’m gonna take a nap and let him get some sleep too.

Wow I was tired when I typed that. I meant parsley, not pellets.

He’s still not eating/pooping as much as I’d like, but just enough that it doesn’t feel like an emergency. If he hadn’t just been to the vet when he was hopping funny, which is fine now, I’d take him in, but since he’s just been there I am worried that stress might be the issue and another trip will make matters worse.

Of course it’s the weekend coming up again, which makes me worried we will end up in the should I take him to the emergency vet situation again like when he was hopping funny.

Oh Eepster – Sea Patrol??? Not even I watch that – ha ha ha ha! (But I heard it was good – I’m to busy watching ‘American’ TV show’s!). LOL!

Why do our bunny’s/pet’s always get injured or are unwell heading into the weekend???
I am so sorry that Porky isn’t feeling well. But I’m sure eating something and a bit of poop is a good sign. I hope you both sleep well. I’m sure Porky will, you should try to as well if he seems happy and comfortable. Take care – both of you.

Now he’s scarfing down a big chunk of carrot. I’m beginning to wonder if he’s figured out that playing sick bunny means he gets extra treats b/c I’m worried he needs to eat anything to keep things moving.

Is it still on the air?  Hulu only has seasons 1-5.  I’ve just gotten through season 3.

I’m pretty sure it got axed about 2 years ago??? Serious, we do make a good TV series here – I’m hooked on quite a few, they are actually very ‘Aussie’ and brilliantly acted. I was going to throw some titles at you, but I’m guessing they won’t be available to you for a while???
If you come across any and want to know if they are any good, I’m happy to let you know.
I’m one of those ‘I watch the first, even the second episode to see if it grabs/holds my attention’. A good indicator for me – If I can’t wait for the next episode…. LOL!

He ate all his kale and has been begging for treats. I feeling more and more like he’s not eating his pellets b/c he has figured out I’m desperate for him to eat anything and he can get away with it.

AndHenry: We get almost no Aussie TV here. I can’t think of any other Aussie shows I’ve seen, except Aussie nature shows and I don’t know if those are made for both audiences or just the US market. Sea Patrol isn’t even on broadcast, just hulu. Do you get hulu there? It’s internet on demand shows and movies. I think we mostly got Sea Patrol b/c one of the main actors, David Lyons, has become popular here on US TV. He does a really good American accent. Much better than most of the actors playing CIA agents on the British show “MI5” (“Spooks” in UK, don’t know if you have it or what it’s called there.)

                                Way to go, Porky =)

Pets get sick during holidays as a rule. They have an inner calendar. It’s weird though, when a pet gets sick, the holiday always comes quickly, normal weeks will drag on, but if you’ve a sick pet, it’s like Sat/Sun ALL THE TIME. The only time my dog got sick was during Pentecost 2010. They charge double at the animal hospital during holidays – double for everything, every syringe and band-aid and the emergency fee is double too, The bill was 3500 US dollars (they charge in SEK though, of course), it’s just not possible to have a dog here without insurance.Have to add: Turned out it was just a “stomach-bug” she had, they never found any cause and it never came back. Can’t imagine the cost if there actually HAD been sth wrong with her!

We get some Aussie TV here. McCleoud’s Daughters f ex. And ancient episodes of the Flying Doctors. And Australia’s Next Top Model. Since I got Netflix, I barely watch regular TV though.

Nope, don’t get hulu – never heard of it (but then, I’m pretty ignorant to anything new ‘tech’ wise). I only know Netflix cause bam mentioned it ages ago in a post (I don’t even know what we were talking about??? Ha ha ha!) and my son has since mentioned he uses it cause he is able to access his girlfriends parents account via her parents that live in America. BUT in the last month or so I have seen articles on TV saying that Netflix is about to come to Australia???
Anyhow, I know all the show’s that bam mentioned as well – can you believe I didn’t watch any of them either!!! The show’s I am desperate for you both to see, cause I reckon you would both love them you probably can’t get – BUGGA!
Serious, I’m wondering how I can get copies to send/post to you both??? Ha ha ha ha….. I really think you would love them!
But yes – I’m a HUGE fan of American and UK tv shows/series…. I could tell you what I love to watch, but I think I would fill up two pages on this thread…. (Ooops!) LOL!

PS – and yes, Porky is going to that Eepster till he works out that you worked it out that he’s all better and is taking you for all he can! He he he…
                                  Cheeky bunny!

Porky is completely back to normal. I think he figured out I was on to him so he stopped playing sick bunny.
