My male rabbit (around a little older than a year) has recently been neutered, I know that you have to wait at least a month for the hormones to subside but I was just wondering if I would be alright to put a young female rabbit (around 12 weeks old) in the same room as the male obviously in separate pens and cages but I was just wondering if this would be alright for both the rabbits or would it be stressful for them? I was also wondering if once she is older would I be able to introduce them and do you think they would get on?

I think that would be fine. It’s difficult to know if they will bond so I cannot answer that – but hopefully they would.

As long as their is absolutely no way that the bunnies can access each other, it should be ok to put them in the same room.
You should be able to introduce them after they are both fixed +one month.
