Ok so Artemis(Flemish giant-13 weeks) came home about 3 weeks ago and instantly the other 2 buns (6 months each) took to her and they all get along well. However…..Everyday I clean the cage I find pee spots EVERYWHERE in their xpen. Like dime size, quarter size, some just drops but literally all over their sheet in put in there. I dont know if its Artemis but the other 2 never did this…not sure if its like UTI or just marking territory. P.S. All 3 buns are completely healthy and happy as far as I can tell

        Anyone had similar experience?

Is it definitely pee? What color is it? I’m curious because I posted a somewhat similar question not too long ago.

I questioned that too…however I had just put them in the pen last night on a clean sheet and within 10 minutes I had 4 yellow spots;/ ugh

I was thinking tho…Artemis came home from this woman I met who literally had 6 giants in a small dog crate (I had to get her out of there, and had a friend adopt all the others thank goodness!) …so filthy and they were going potty on the floor. So needless to say she isnt really litterbox trained yet;/ we try and try but she poops everywhere and thats why I started thinking this is pee but why so many random spots and not just a puddle! Im lost…

I kept finding small brownish orange spots (on green fleece) — always dry when I found them, always round, always small. The concensus here was that it was some form of “butt juice” (I know that sounds gross!). Did you take any pictures? I posted pics of the spot as well as other spots that I knew what they were for comparison — the thread was titled “Pee dribbles?” You can do a forum search and it comes right up. I’d be really curious what the spots you found look like!
