I adopted my first bunny Checkers a month and a half ago and I have since noticed a strange clumping of hair with yellow stuff at the bottom holding the hair together. I’ve been pulling them out, but I’m starting to think that that may not be the best coarse of action and regret doing so. I put pictures of the clumps I’m concerned about at the end. He also sneezes occasionally but I don’t think it’s related

General rule of thumb with rabbit shed — if it slides right out then it was already detached and is ok to “pluck”, if you have to pull at all, leave it alone.

If you haven’t ever tried one, the hairbuster comb is great for shedding bunnies. You can get it at the BB store online on this site.

If your bunny doesn’t seem more itchy than usual and is otherwise normal, I don’t think these fur chucks are cause for concern. It is fine to pluck them out, but don’t pull, like JR said.
