        Hi everyone!
I have a question about my wee Casper and her “playing???” behavior.
A little background on her: She has been with us for about 2 months, she is approx 6-7 months old. She has been spayed for about 2 weeks. She is healthy, friendly, social and very sweet.
She has done the following since we go her and both my boyfriend and I play with her as such (and she only does this when she is really  hyper).
We lay on the ground and “shoot” our hands towards her and she stops and leans forward quickly (almost like a small charge or lunge but not aggressively).
We take our hand back and shoot it forward again really fast, sometimes drumming our fingers across the carpet and she does the same jump forward towards it. Sometimes when we do it she will flip her head round and do like a mini binky and run around the corner and then come back and jump towards our hand- back and forth, you can imagine. And eventually she will charge full blast into either our arm or hand and cover with licks.
Do you think she is enjoying it, or do you think she feels threatened?  Is a charge ever anything then aggressive? (no biting, no grunting, etc).

They have a few different charges. Mine will run right at me for food, etc, which is not aggressive. Powder will run full speed to my hand for pets. You have to look at the whole rather than a single action. Given she licks you and binkies, it doesn’t sound like she’s threatened.

If she doesn’t react aggressively, and seems to be enjoying it, it sounds fine to do as long as it is on her own terms and you don’t pursue her to play this game if she doesn’t feel up to it.

I have a game that I play with my little Luna too. Luna is a very vocal bunny in general so she does grunt and lunge while playing this game.

Anyway, she has a problem with my dustpan and brush and always grunts at it when I am sweeping her cage etc. Sometimes I will just have the brush and I play a game where she chases it and lunges at it. It does seem to be a game that she enjoys and like LongEaredLions said, it is always on her terms when we play.

One time, I was in a bad mood, and I am pretty sure she was asking to play but I wasn’t up for it and I think she understood because she went away and left me to sweep :3

              Bunnies are fun!

                LizziAnn, thanks for the reply!
We played this again this morning and she jjust can’t control herself, she binkies and lunges and lets out a little grunt and lunges and binkies and just seems to be having the best time. I am glad that this is normal, because we have fun with it. She always follows it up with hand kisses

I sing to pooh, oh where oh where is pooh bear where could pooh bear be. He runs real fast and binks. Pooh bear also responds to the word bink and does it.
