Hi everyone, my boy peanut is now 5 months old and has turned into the laziest bunny I have EVER seen.

He lives in his cage (a 7×3 L-Shape C&C cage, with 2 levels.) during the day whilst I am our at work and then between 6 -10pm he gets free reign of my room when I am there to supervise, as the minute I leave my room, he is on my bed peeing on my pillows.

he has countless toys, a digging box, varied healthy diet and loads of room. But every time I walk in the door he’s loafing.
Even when I let him out in the evening he sits in his litter box, lies down under my bed or loafs under my desk. He is eating/drinking/pooping okay, not ill at all. So maybe he is just lazy by nature!!

Is there anything I can do to entertain him more or get him moving about?
Does anyone else have experience with lazy lazy buns?!

        Any help is appreciated!

        Amy

        P.s. Pics to follow!!

My 3 year female is lazy. She sleeps all day in her house and then at night she wants out and then just lays around on the floor.

              Your bunny is just gorgeous!!!!

My bunnies are also pretty lazy, especially my lop. They are 7 years old but my lop has always been pretty lazy.

Bunnies are crepuscular meaning they are most active at dusk and dawn. Bunnies usually like to sleep all afternoon and later in the night.

You know your bunny. Some bunnies are just lazy (and lops are notorious for being lazy). But if ever you notice a serious decrease in energy level, it’s time to see the vet.

I’m so with you on that one! I wish I had an explanation but I’m just here to SERIOUSLY agree. Noah hardly ever binky’s anymore either. He’s got a great life, I take good care of him. He’s got everything he could want, free reign of my room all day until I go to sleep, and yet 90% of the day he spends under my bed lounging! Does ANYONE have a clue why?
