I’m getting ready to make a digging box for my favorite little digger and was wondering what the rest of you put in your bunny’s digging box (if you have one). . .

I made the digging box — balled up unprinted newsprint paper, crinkle litter, cut up paper towel roll, and cardboard chips (octagon shaped “coins”). I thought I knew my lops pretty well, nut apparently not . . .

Made the digging box for Moshi. He’s not interested in digging in it. Marlee (not a digger) is having a blast burrowing in it and burying herself under the contents. Moshi is enjoying it too — he’s tossing the occasional paper ball that flies out when Marlee burrows.

The box is 24 x 14 x 12, and I left he flaps standing up. I only cut one doorway in the box. Moshi found another way out — he jumped out the top . . . turns out one of my lops is a jumper after all. Thinking about folding the flaps straight out and making paper streamers to hang from them.

Ant suggestions for improving on our new digging box?
