So I am new here and i am very confused about what i should do. Unfortunately a few days ago my beloved rabbit happy died at the age of just 11 months. I had bought Happy as a companion for Crunchy(my 2 year old house bunny) when she was around a year old but she was never that attached to happy. Happy was the dominating one and kept on nipping, humping, and chasing crunchy around but they often cuddled together. In fact on Happy’s last day she avoided him and even now she seems fine. She is eating well and occasionally flops down on her side and sleeps. Should I buy another companion for Crunchy? If yes then should i buy an old rabbit near crunchy’s age or a baby rabbit? Also, would it be difficult for an older rabbit to adjust to new surrounding and accept crunchy? Please help!

I think it sounds like Crunchy is fine on her own….I would say just keep Crunchy a single girl.
