  Honestly. The first night i want quiet (due to merlin resting after surgery) is the firat night the upstairs neighbours decide to be AS NOISY AS HUMANLY POSSIBLE. They are normally fine! No problems! But i have nooo idea what they are doing tonight. Having a door slamming competition with an elephant wearing stilettos maybe?!! Grrr! Context: its ten to midnight where i am now!

  Hope they quiet down soon. I can’t stand living in apartments for exactly that reason.

  When I lived in an apartment years ago, I had one of those above me. Finally went upstairs one day and knocked on the door. A woman with curlers in her hair, a mud facial mask caked on her face, and wearing a chenille bathrobe answered the door. Turns out it was her daily jog time on her mini trampoline! She turned out to be a crazy cat lady. We ended up moving upstairs next door yo her. When she got married, her husband put locks on all of their cabinet doors, and used to come over wanting to store his ice cream in our freezer!
