The last few days I’ve noticed my bunny, who’s name is Bunny, take on feline behaviour. She’s eaten his food, which has promptly been taken away, she jumps and leaps on to things like a cat rather than climbing, she’s started licking everything, she copies my cat’s actions, and then tonight she rolled on to her back legs in the air but she wasn’t in a trance she was lying there like a cat. I’ve also seen them catnapping together, stretched out in a sunny spot. She’s still a baby and I’ve had her almost three weeks… is my little Bunny confused? It’s amusing to watch. but ah, idk much about bunny behaviour

Sounds normal to me. Bunnies do imitate what they see- usually other bunnies, but it could be cats too.
I don’t think it’s anything you need to worry about, it sounds adorable.

Thanks. I was thinking that today. She’s in a house full of humans and the only other mammal there that even slightly resembles her is my Patch. At least he’s stopped thinking she’s dinner!

All those things are exactly what my bunnies do! I think it’s just normal bunny behaviour rather than cat copying. Bunnies do jump onto things because they dont have claws to climb and they like to be up high. In fact mine leap onto the chair and sit on the back of it and lick the cushions :3, they lick everything lol. And rolling onto their back with paws in the air is called a flop and means you have a very happy and relaxed bunny! The best flops are the paws in the air flops, so damn cute…

Yesterday for a brief second I got a flop where he groomed his front feet for a few seconds. So darn cute! I so want a picture of a flop, but they never last long enough. Sounds normal to me.

I’ve always felt that bunnies are like the best parts of a cat combined with the best parts of a dog. Of course, with their own uniquely rabbit traits as well though. XD
