So I have a female lion head and she is coming up to 7 months old, I hear you should get your bunny spayed when they reach this age but where I am it is really expensive and I can’t afford to get her done at the moment.

Is it a must to get her done or will she be alright not having her done ?

It is a must be done. Save up your money. It’s important to spay because unspayed females have a 50 to 80% chance of getting uterine cancer as they age.

Yes, it’s definitely something that needs to be done, sadly.
Have a look around to find a good bunny vet with decent prices!

You can check to see if any of the rabbit savvy vets in your area participate in the Care Credit plan. That plan lets you put the vet bill on your credit card, then pay it off in monthly payments with no interest.

Uterine changes don’t generally happen until closer to 2 years old, although there have been some cases in younger rabbits. So the good news is, you have a little bit of time to get the cash together!
