I believe my two bunnies are bonded, one female and male, both fixed. They snuggle together, lick each other, and minimal mounting by the male.Only one fight the whole time they’ve known each other, which was only been a week. They also are in the same cage, but have free reign over my bedroom besides under the bed. Bunny proofed as well. The point is I suppose is that all they have been doing is laying around. I have toys for them and a card board box for hiding, but they haven’t been running around or anything. They eat, drink, poop/pee…etc. but they just haven’t been very active since I *hopefully* successfully bonded them. When I brought the male home last week, he had some exercise time to himself and was binkying. I have not seen it since they have been together. It doesn’t seem that they are hostile though, am I just worried over nothing? I want them to get exercise they also don’t really want to be pet by me unless I’m giving treats. Thanks for any advice.

I think you are worried over nothing. The laying around is normal. My rabbit does not play with toys either.

My buns don’t do very much either. Is it hot summer weather where you are? I find my buns much less active when it’s hot and muggy.

I agree with Sarita and LPT.

Another thing to keep in mind is that rabbits are crepuscular (most active at dawn and dusk).
