Are banana peels harmful to rabbits???

Goblin discovered that we throw our banana peels away in the garbage after the banana is gone. I noticed half the peel was missing because I found the other half on the floor, I assumed it was my dog.

Until later we caught him balancing on the sides of the trash can digging for more banana peels………………

Now he won’t leave the trashcan alone.

Nope, banana peels are fine for bunnies to eat. I actually give mine a bit of peel (and fruit too) when I buy organic bananas, as the general concern about the banana peel is that it absorbs a ton of pesticides. But you should be ok.
