Hi everyone! I’ve come to notice de times flash sort of shakes/breakers a little faster when she’s lying down or sometimes just sitting calm. I’ve read lots
Online about how the do breath fast and the fact that she has lop ears makes her more warm. She’s eating pooping and drinking fine. She’s on antibiotics from her spay to prevent infection. Just wondering if anyone else has had a experience like this, she goes to see the vet in 6 days to make sure their is no infection in the sutures. I can try to make it in 3 days instead. She seems perfectly fine besides the minor shaking

My rabbits shake like that if it’s hot out, or if they’re scared. Make sure your rabbits never sit in direct sunlight and aren’t too hot, or else they will overheat.
Is it hot where your rabbit lives? You can turn the air on, spot a fan on them, give them a frozen bottle, or lightly mist they’re ears with cool water.

We have a joke about how Leopold is always “rocking”. Sometimes his body will gently rock back and forth when he breathes. I think it’s normal, especially if they are feeling a bit on the warm side. I wouldn’t worry unless your bun appears to be distressed.

I’ve tried the water bottle thing but all flash does it bite and scratch at it! Lol. I have a mini fan that blows over her cage and she will sit under it when she’s hot. Her ears usually feel normal never too cold or to hot

My rabbits do the same thing with the water bottle They’re pen is right next to a glass door, and if I forget to close it, they like to sit right under it and “sun bathe”. They don’t mind the heat but I close the drapes for they’re own safety
