        Hey guys,

I had Teddy for about 3 months (born in april). I know that he is a mix (3/4lop, 1/4 dwarf), his mom is a purebred lop while the dad is a holland dwarf mix (with airplane ears). From what I saw in the litter, all the females lopped early while the males still had airplane ears or straight up.

Teddy’s ears majority of the time are up, but when he is stressed (i.e.: in carrier) its almost all the way down. Interestingly, I can fit almost 2.5 fingers between the base of each ear on the crown. When hes lying down sometimes I lightly put them down and it does go all the way down, but when he wakes up he shakes them until it goes back up x]. He still maintains the ability to move them up and down.

I doubt he’s going to lop since hes already 3 months old, but am curious if anyone can predict it might? :S

        Thanks!

        Sorry for the dark picture!

How adorable! I would love it if mine had airplane ears! Both of my lops have lopped ears, but Marlee does hold one ear up when she’s angry!

x] Ya he’s adorable either way but I’m just curious if he is one of those late loppers!

I don’t talk about this much, but I had a rabbit when I was a kid. She was a lop mix and both of her ears would be up most of the time. She had control over them and she could definitely let them drop down if she wanted to. Sometimes it was one up and one down. I imagine Teddy has enough uppy-ear in him that he will still maintain pretty good control as he gets older. So he will probably have one up and one down or both up or whatever, depending on his mood.
