Okay So I checked on Theo this morning and i came back (around 5 hours later) And His water was all the way gone and there was poop all over his cage!! Was it too hot or something?? Because he lives in a sun-room and it is usually pretty hot in there so since we got him we always ran the fan for 30-60 min and that would keep it cool until night time. He has been in that same temp for 3-4 months now and this has NEVER happened! Should I be worried? Did he just get too hot?

        Thanks,

        Anne

Could his water bottle be leaking? It might be an idea to give him a bottle and bowl during the hot months.
Rabbits don’t do well at all in the heat.

Edit up add: How old is Theo?

Oh sorry! For some reason I thought I read water bottle.

With the poop, could he have been marking because another pet came near his cage? Does he normally do most of it in a litterbox?

We do have a dog but she has never been very close to him there is a glass sliding door so he can see the dog. And he usually goes in the litter box but sometimes he is too lazy to go over there and poops by his food bowl And the temperature is probably around 60 after the fan is on and get hotter probably around 70 and then I turn the fan back on I am not 100% sure though.

I have a tile in Sophie’s cage that she can lay on that stays cold. I put a long ice cube in her water bottle or a frozen water bottle wrapped in paper towels in her cage with her to lay against so she stays cool.

I do the exact same thing with the tile and ice cubes ^^ But the water bottle he chews up xD He absolutely LOVES the tile! He lays on it all the time! I always put the tiles in the fridge or freezer and wrap a thin towel around it cause sometimes it can be too cold and he is always on it! And I also have 2 tiles so that one can be getting cold while the other one hes using :3 and then I switch
