Bindi Dental Thursday- Vibes Please

Bindi is getting his molars trimmed tomorrow. I always worry about it. Isn’t it just the most awful feeling dropping your bunny off for a day at the vets? 

I always do the pre-anaesthetic bloodwork just to make sure he’s healthy beforehand. He also needs his tear ducts flushed and an ear check for possible infection. Last dental was just before Christmas so he needs them done about every 6 months. He’s been showing symptoms he needs them done: a couple of episodes of gas and some squishy poos here and there. He’s also being very fussy with hay.

Poor Bindi! And thank you for the reminder how lucky I am LPT – I couldn’t imagine having to drop Henry off at the vets regularly.

Thanks everyone. Just got a call that he did well and his bloodwork was normal. He does have an ear infection, though. Boo……but I figured. They are all goopy and he’s been scratching them. I have to wait till supper to pick him up.

Even though, he and Olivia are not bonded, they have side by side condos in the rabbit room and when he’s gone she acts strange. I figure she misses him. She just loafs by her door all afternoon, which is unusual for her. Usually she sleeps in her cardboard house.

I think Pip always knows when Mimzy is at the vet even though she’s in a different room from him. She just acts ‘off’ until he returns.

Glad everything went well!

Considering that Marlee thumps constantly when Moshi isn’t right where she can see him (no one goes to the vet alone, so far), I’d hate to think how she’d be if he ever needs his teeth done!
