Attila the Bun just came home a few days ago and is only a couple of months old. Generally he seems really happy and is frequently hopping and dancing around the room. Today, however, he seems to have picked up a new fascination with my fingers. He’s been nibbling them whenever they come near him, though not really in an aggressive way – more like he thinks they’re food! He still comes near me and will leave the rest of my body alone except for a little licking, but he’s obsessed with chewing on my fingers. I even tried to distract him with some hay and he went past it to nibble my fingertips instead. If I try and move them past his face to pet his back, he’ll follow them. (I thought they may have some scent on them which he liked, but washing them didn’t help.) Another website I checked suggested squealing when he bites to show that it hurts, which I’ve tried, and it does seem to be helping – but now besides the still-occasional nibble he won’t stop licking them! Any advice about why he’s doing this…?

Licking means he likes you. It’s a sign of affection. He’s “grooming” you, like he would do if he had a bunny friend.
Nothing to be worried about, just don’t stick your fingers in front of his face

If he’s not chomping down, he probably is just playing. Either that or you smell like food.
