Three times I’ve written and re-written this post. Three times.

I think the BB forums need some sort of draft function.

Anyway, I built a NIC cage for the first time today.  Roscoe’s definitely not a temporary fixture anymore, so his cage had to be improved.  I was tired of not having room for a litter pan.  I couldn’t let him sit in pee any longer, despite frequent pee-stained-shavings removal.  He caught a back leg on the edge of the cage when hopping out today.  I was there to help, thankfully, but I wanted to make sure it would never happen again.

Old (cage normally located directly beside futon):

        New:

This image was followed by a bunch of binkies and rabbit 500s around the new cage.  I think it’s a success.  ETA (modified):  When Lily moves in, I will re-structure and pull the whole thing out in front of the desk and/or buy another set of panels.  He has 12 sq ft or so in this configuration, which is okay for him alone.

And one lounging bunny on-the-mend for good measure:

Looks neat! Based on the number of grids I see, there isn’t enough room for a second bunny in there though.

Thats great, that bunny looks like a very happy bunny!! But I do agree with Jack Rabbit, I don’t think there’s enough room for 2 bunnies!

No, for sure not for two.  I can pull it out all the way, attach the two extra panels together and buy fasteners for the desk, or buy more cubes if the space is still much too small.  I will have to measure.

               Thanks.

I can’t believe I didn’t do it sooner.  I’ve had him for two weeks.  Cheapest/best rabbit decision yet.  Good luck, @I LOVE LOPS!
