My bunnies sleep in my bed under the covers with me now because it’s winter (and because I think it’s cute). But the one bunny (2year old female spayed bunny) has started to nip me! She only does it when she’s under/coming out/trying to get under the duvet! How do I get her to stop? It’s sore! No blood is drawn so it’s not a full on bite but it’s still painful
Also if anyone has any suggestions on how to get them to be more affectionate that would be greatly appreciated! The only time they love me is at night and they want to sleep under the duvet my friend has bunnies that sleep in her arms all day and run to her when she comes home! I want to be in my bunnies circle of friends and love

My bunnies wouldn’t even sleep in my bed with me so you are lucky that you even get that from your buns. Most bunnies will not tolerate being in someone arms all day. Sometimes I wish my buns were more affectionate, but I have to remind myself that they are bunnies and they are doing what is natural for them. They let me give them hugs and kisses and that’s all I ask.

As for biting in the bed, I don’t really have any advice, unfortunately, other than not let her sleep in the bed.

Each and every bunny has a different personality and you can’t always change that. I have a energetic and loving bunny, and a grumpy bunny .
Rabbits are most active during dawn and dusk and do whatever they want the rest of the day, so your bunnies are probably not sleeping most of time, and they are probably uncomfortable?
My grumpy bunny, Mocha, usually nips me when I’m cleaning out her cage, if I get in her personal space, or if i’m “annoying her” (giving her food!).
Mocha normally doesn’t really like being pet but she LOVES being rubbed behind the ears. My other bunny, Rumpus, also LOVES being rubbed behind the ears. He’ll even lick me constantly while i’m doing it! You can hand feed her treats that she really enjoys.
I think you should let your bunnies sleep on the floor though and not under the covers with you. You can let them hop on the bed with you.
            She probably doesn’t like that.
            Hope I helped!

Licorice does that to me! He climbs all over me – then nips me when he wants to get down. I think they just want us outta the way. lol
