        So I’m planning to start getting in shape for summer! I really should just start to tone up all the flab on my stomach and thighs, lol.

        So I thought this could be an interesting thread to start, we could all support each other and give words of wisdom to each other. My hardest part will be turning down all the Yummy foods… And me niece and older sister are making delicious cupcakes right now as we speak… Maybe just one? lol Also the other hard part will be sticking to getting in shape, I usually decide I will, eat a desert and give up.

          Haven’t really had a chance to exercise much, but will do it heavy duty tomorrow.

            The trick to a successful diet is NOT depriving yourself. You just end up wanting stuff more. Allow yourself small treats, and exercise regularly, and you’ll do fine

                I want to walk to store and back to get my meds and exercise.  Even in this heat.  I hurt my knee saturday and will go tomorrow I think depending on how it feels.  I still will do rumba thursday I beleive.          

                I want to get down to size 8 am at 12 right now.  Stuck there right now.  

                Lets keep trying.  Here we go.

                  I want to get down to a size 5 Junior(I think that’s what they are called, missus and junior?)
                  I’m about 5’4” or 5’5”, so I think that would make me look healthy. I think I’m size 7 or 8 junior, but I haven’t shopped in forever, and I don’t think I want to.
                  When It’s dance season, my stomach area tones a bit. I was telling a someone how many inches my stomach was, and they go “I think that measuring tape must have been off.”
                  Excuse me?

                    I think a lot health and fitness tips are common sense. Such as eating in moderation and being consistently active. What works for me is to do activities that I enjoy so it doesn’t feel like punishment lol. I’m excited to try out some spinning studios next month. My ideal goal to have a firmer and toned butt, but it’s not a deal breaker if that doesn’t happen.

                    Moxie: Ugh I dislike it when people make unnecessary comments like that. It’s always easy to criticize a person’s appearance. Anyhow stay positive!

                      Yes, definitely do it with something you enjoy… not everyone can be on a treadmill for hours! If you like dancing, get fit that way, or cycling, or running in parks… Make it fun
