There’s no chemical that’s going to be safe for bunnies, but I was just reading that eucalyptus is a mosquito repellent, so you could plant some outside the area of your garden. Might work. I would look online for natural bug repellents for organic gardens.

The other idea is to enclose your garden in sort of a net cover, like a tent or greenhouse, to keep them away.

Anyone know if marigolds are bunny safe? Someone at our local Southern States told us to plant marigolds all the way around our “human” garden years ago. We’ve just always done so and the bugs stay away . … birds are another story! If marigolds are bunny safe then they’re worth a try (and look pretty too but don’t smell great)

Lavender as just posted in Mocha’s query… Best for mosquitoes, Tansy for flies… Eucalyptus can still be bad for animals especially cats but lavender is perfectly safe… I live near a lake and have bushes every where and also add pure oil to my moisturiser… After a while it gets into the skin and you can miss a few days and they still avoid you..

Dipil is also and organic pesticide that prevents the caterpillars from developing it will not make the plants toxic. It’s made from a bacteria.

There is diatomaceous earth that you can buy, either online or at your local hardware store. I would buy the white quality, it’s more of a concentrated quality and not pure dust, it is good to use in the garden. It is not toxic and made up of natural materials so it won’t be toxic.
