I have two bunnies, as some may know. A boy named Bunnito and girl named Meatloaf.
Which, by the way, their ear mites are all gone thanks to my wonderful vet. =>

What I was wondering, are rabbits usually pretty cuddly or is it just I got super lucky? Meatloaf has always been a lil skittish, but I can get her to cuddle a lil and get her to purr when i pet her, but usually likes to do her own thing. Bunnito, on the other hand LOVES to cuddle! I love laying on a bed or couch with him, cause he’ll snuggle up on my tummy and let me pet him while he purrs up a storm. Actually… Is loud purring from a bunny normal? Cause if the room is quiet you can hear him plain as day. It’s cute and i don’t think it’s grinding since it’s fast and brought on by petting n snuggles. But, is it normal that bunnies love to be snuggled n petted or is it that i am lucky since i have been loving on them since they were two months old?

Also, with Meatloaf, I noticed that the more i handle her the more calm i can get her to be once i hold her. bunnito has always been chill and relaxed while meatsie just wants to un and be crazy lol. they are from the same litter but so different. it’s cute and amazing how even lil furry bunnies can be packed with so much personality. also one more thing. do your bunnies pose for pictures? meatloaf always does and it’s hilarious! XD and she is very protective of bunnito. she likes hiding him when pics are taken of them together. they are a hoot. =)

It really depends. Out of the four bunnies I have had, two of them have been cuddly, two have not. While generally bunnies are not too snuggly, it’s not uncommon. It is sure nice though to be able to hug and kiss them.

Ah, so I got lucky it seems. It is nice to have a literal snuggle bunny. Plus with Bunnito when he gives kissies you know you’ve earned them. Though it does annoy me when he gives me bunny butt >_o! I tend to give it right back lol. i usually cave first and pet him to say sorry for whatever it may have been that i did to offend him. o.o

Cooper is the definition of cuddlebun. He hops over as soon as you sit on the floor then we take turns grooming: me petting him in exchange for kisses. Some days he gets really into it and licks every inch of my face. If you don’t give him your undivided attention he will climb up your leg or sit on your feet until you notice him! My flemish who passed away liked pets and liked to hop all over us when we laid on the floor, but I wouldn’t have called him cuddly.

Aww yay someone else has some cuddlebuns! So I guess it really just depends on the bunny temperment. Kinda like lil people XD

Powder my male is a cuddle bun. He doesn’t like being held, but he will sit for hours if you pet him that long. He also used to sleep in my bed and now he jumps in my lap. Total sweetheart.

Stickers, my female, is stand offish. She wants pets on her terms. Never for long either. She is getting better a little at a time though. And if you have craisins she loves you until they are gone…

My bun Lola adores to be cuddled, she begs for attention and props herself up against me and licks me until I pay attebtion to her. And I also thought I was the only person who’s bun posed for pictures!! If we are all out that day, she will be visibky angry when we get home. It is really the cutest.

Out of my two – Chipper is a cuddle bun, he’ll sit with you for ages. Hunkers right down and only moves here and there to find a new lap. Licorice prefers “drive by” affections. LOL He runs up – licks you and/or hops all over you frantically, demands some petting – then runs off. Sometimes he even runs up – bites me in the toe and then runs off and lays down. That means – “get over here and pet me fool!” If I don’t – the tiny turd does it again.
