I have had Cotton 7 years.  Can’t believe it took this long to think this up.  Duh.

IN the past Cotton has gotten away from me and i had to chase and catch him over again to do his nails. He would get out of the towel and off he went.

5 or so trims ago I thought to put his harness and leash on so I don’t have to chase.  He did so good today.  Best ever.  He got out of the towel once.  No biggie.  He jumped on me and I petted and talked a bit.  He got calm.  I wrapped him and put him between my feet grabbed a hind foot and away we went.  He did great.  He is ok once he jumps on me a few times and i pet and comfort him.  Calming him and going slow work real good.

His front feet I sit him beside me and take a foot and trim.  The first nail he always jumps and pulls his foot away and the first hind foot same thing.  After that he is ok.  He seems to want to know he is safe.  Once he knows he is fine.   This is so cool.

That sounds like a good idea. I never have to towel Moxie, she is so good, but she will run away now and then and I have to keep catching her.
