        Hey Everybunny!

I am in the process of planning a DIY condo for my 3 month old Holland Lop, Winston. He is currently just over 2 pounds, so I don’t expect him to be more then 4 pounds full grown. I was wondering how high a holland lop can comfortably jump? I was planning on putting a mid level at 12 inches and the second level at 22 inches. Should I put ramps in between these? What considerations do y’all take into account when designing your levels?

        Thanks So Much – Savannah

I don’t think you need a ramp at 12 inches, but I would make the second one a little higher (25 or 26 inches) and put a ramp there. What are you going to use as the flooring on the levels? ( grids, wood, etc.)

Awesome, thank you. We are planning to use wood with vinyl flooring on top and untreated pine for the edges to keep bunny mess in the cage. I have also seen people using fish tank sealant to keep  liquid mess in and I think we will probably do that as well.
