Well I ashamedly haven’t been on here for a long time, what with relationship issues, moving towns, new job, and then getting married to the most amazing man ever. I shared many tales on here about my Brian bubblebum, aka mr buggers, and most recently known as mr bell. His heartache at finding out his compadre bettie bean bunny was a boy, only to hear she was a girl all along. His sadness at losing her, only her only to find his soulmate ruby boob, aka miss cheeks. Sadly my gorgeous Brian bell passed away suddenly two weeks ago after giving me nine years of utter delight, he went through it all with me, his good ol mum. Devastation befell our household that weekend. We buried him in the front garden under a gorgeous rosebush we found with the same name as his best friend “ruby ruby”. Devastation turned to the sickening worry about how poor ruby would cope, as he was all she’s known. Patience, loving and lots of cuddles and subjecting her to radio 2 when we r at work has resulted in miss cheeks seeming to have got through her loss. Flopping in front of the tv with us, chewing the walls again, and basically being a little buggerlugs. The loss of our darlings is too painful to bear, but we wouldn’t be without them!!!! (Yeah I think she’s coped remarkably!!)

I’m sorry about your Brian bubblebum. It’s hard losing our rabbits and our senior rabbits is even harder.

He was a cutie – I’m sure little Ruby will be fine since she obviously is getting so much love from you.

              Hugs.

Probs a bit weird but with both bettie and Brian I ate a teeny tiny bit of their fur, that way they’ve been part of me. Pretty sad huh?! When bettie died my ex buggered off out for the night to watch football and left me to get on with it. When Brian left us recently (to join his bettie), and we got him back from the vets, my fab hubby suggested he stay in bed with us for one last night. He did, all snuggled and loved, must say I didn’t sleep at all that night, but it helped, and we made sure ruby was aware of what had happened. Although she definitely knew something was wrong before we did.xxxx

Sorry, I’m so late seeing this, but I would like to offer my condolences on the loss of your bunny friend.
