Hello! I noticed a week ago that my rabbit had a bit of a runny nose around 5 pm, I waited a while then checked it around 11 pm and her nose was dry, normal, and it did not look like anything was there before. I was looking at her 4 days ago and her runny nose is back. I have been checking it for the past 3 days and it is still runny. It is not mucusy but it is wet with a tiny bit of mucus. Should I take her to the vet or wait it out? Is a runny nose a side affect to a disease? What causes it? What fixes it? Sorry I am asking so many questions, just worried about my bun.

She likely has a bit of a URI, or something is irritating her nose, like a piece of hay or a scent. I would take a quick trip to the vet, and get some baytril or similar while you are there. Perhaps do a culture and sensitivity test to figure out the cause and the best antibiotics. That should clear it up. Don’t worry too much, it’s not life threatening.
