So My Rabbit Storm Is About 8-9 Months Old And Has been Acting up The Past Month, I Know I Need To Get Him Neuter(I Have The Money Put Aside) And I Even Went Back To Some Old Videos To See The Difference, And There Is A Difference. He Is Driving Me Crazy!

-Chewing the Trim Way to Much

        -Chewing He’s Blankets

        -Digging so Much

        -Nipping Me for No Reason

        -Peeing On his Blankets

        -And On And On…..etc….

But My Mom Think That I Shouldn’t Get him Neutered Unless he Get Aggressive, but I Think He Is Somewhat Aggressive.

There Is Only One Vet Around Me(45min away) And I Have Never Been There Before. The Other Option Is that A Friend Of My Mom’s Has Two Males that She Is getting Neutered Soon By A vet That Comes To There Farm For The Cows(She’s Official and everything) And Doing It With Her Would Save Me $80 That i Could Spend On Items That I Need.

Also Another One Of My Mom’s Friend (who Has Rabbits for Meat ) Say’s That Males Can Get Cancer If They get Fixed, And She Wanted Me To Look that Up.

        So the Questions Are:

        -What Vet Should I Do?

-Do You Think It Would Good To Get Him Neutered Now? Or Later?

-Can male Get Cancer? If so What Are The Percents?

-Do You Think he Will get Worse?

-Also Any Other Helpful Advise would be nice

        -Thank You———Abby

I definitely think its time for him to get neutered and if were you I would find out which vet is more experienced with rabbits and go with that veterinarian. I have never heard of males getting cancer if fixed. I have heard that they can get testicular cancer but if neutered that would stop the chance of that happening.I also seem to have read that the chances of testicular cancer is low. I think getting him neutered sooner is better than later. I think his behaviors might get better it will take around a month to 6 weeks for his hormones to settle down. Mine did a lot of chewing on baseboards and peeing and pooping next to his cage. he also did seem to get a little nippy but as soon as I could I got him neutered all the habbits he had stopped right away except for the chewing he seemed to act crazy for about 2 to 3 weeks after he was neutered then he settled down. I also did put hot sauce on the baseboards to stop him from chewing on them it seemed to work. All in all I think it is well worth getting him neutered he will be a happier bunny.
Best of luck and let us know what you decided to do!

            I would go with this.

Also for who should do it, even some vets could be questionable, I would go with whoever has the better reputation. I am a city person so I would not depend on some visiting vet but I am biased since like I said, I live in the city. I do not trust stuff like that
