        Hey y’all!

Like I said I’m new to this world. I just got my bunny, he’s five months old and came sort of litter trained. He’s doing great at being consistent, however now he’s peeing in the corners of his enclosure. I added his third level and unfortunately another litter box today after I came home to a nice mess. Pointers, tips, anything will  be helpful!

Is he only peeing in one corner? If so, move his litter box there because that’s where he wants to go. Pick up his poops and put them in his litterbox to remind him to go there. Is he neutuered?

          Have fun with your bun!

“He” and “five months old” are the key words to me. Is he neutered?

That was my thought, Peony. Cooper? We tend to blame a lot on hormones, but for a good reason. 🙂

Well, since this post his top level is blocked off. He decided to try a cool trick and jumped out. So it’s blocked off until I put a top on it. (I thought about it while building, but didn’t think he’d jump over three feet to the floor) So now he’s peeing outside of his main litter box, right next to it actually. I already pick up his poo’s and toss them in there. He isn’t neutered yet, and may not be for a bit. I called to see just how much it was and was honestly shocked at the price being just as much as my car payment. I train horses, but unfortunately my barn vet isn’t too familiar with rabbits. I don’t want to set Cooper or myself up for failure … /:

He’ll pee anywhere he darn well pleases until he’s neutered… so there ya go!

Here ya go (took me a while to find, very funny)

Welcome to my world! (Though, not anymore – snip snip!). Seriously – my Henry sprayed us constantly! We learned to keep our mouths closed, pillow’s at hand for spray defence, and my dogs kept right away from him, to the point if Henry jumped up on the bed, the dogs all jumped down! (How Henry became top dog). We had him neutered and (for us) Henry was all good within 2 weeks, though every time he turned his back on us for a good month after, we still winced and grabbed for the pillows. Once I felt I had the all clear – I then began the wash down – furniture, curtains, bedding, etc., and lets not forget the walls to get all that yellow/brown piddle dribble off. (My daughter when dropping in for a visit once, went into my room and asked how I managed to spill a cup of tea ‘up’ my wall????? Of coarse I tripped…..). Horrendous!
So my simple suggestion, ha hah – get him neutered ASAP!

You have to find an exotic vet. You might want to find one before something more serious happens, like on top of the forum:

That is said because they can die at that point (24 hours)
