My bunny doesn’t seem to like toys, homemade or store bought. I’ve tried various balls and blocks and boxes. She just does not show much interest in anything. The only thing she seems to even bother with is a cardboard box filled with shredded paper. Any suggestions would be welcome. I just don’t want her to get bored, she deserves some fun.

Bunnies play in different ways, so if she likes to dig in a cardboard box, there’s no harm in that. Some just aren’t interested in regular toys.

Another option is a cardboard maze (there is one sold here in the BB store called the Maze Haven). It can be configured different ways to keep it interesting, and it doubles as a hidey house.

Mine like to chew on old magazines. I lay one out on the floor opened and they chew on it. One really likes to drag her’s around and changes pages on her own. That’s really the only thing she likes and of course exploring boxes and and running around. She doesn’t really play with toys too much. Oh I also have an item BB store sells called Hoppers Hideaway. You can buy different pieces and make a fort with it. Both my bunnies have their own, they live separately. They like to climb and nap in them. if you get a maze or a tunnel of some type you could take some of your bunny’s pellets or treats and hide them in there so they can find them. I do that sometimes for my bunnies to mix things up a bit.

My buns only really like toys they can chew and/or eat like willow toys, cardboard and treat bags (paper bags filled with hay and goodies with holes punched in it)

Have you tried a treat ball or something containing food? Most bunnies are very motivated by food….

As LEL stated, food toys can be really fun for buns. You can try taking an empty peanut-butter jar, and punching some holes in it. Put in some treats, and give it to the bun. Or you can probably find cuter foraging toys at a pet store or the BinkyBunny shop.

I also recommend toys with treats or hay in it. Some rabbits like a challenge, so you could try hiding your bunny’s favorite treat in a toilet paper roll or paper towel roll and then fill it up with hay. If your bunny smells the treat in there, she’ll figure out a way to get it. It can get a bit messy, especially if she decides to push it around the room and hay spills out all over the place. Here’s a video of mine doing that: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ApGg1NGDcYE

All mine hate any sort of toys, even hay filled lol! They just love a blanket to scoot.
