Okay so i was out playing with Theo and i was poking him saying “im gonna get you” and then he like jumped up at my hand and then made this REALLY loud noise and it was like grunting or something do you think he is annoyed or mad or thinking i am going to put him away? That is what i think it is. And before this when i was poking him he was binkying and twitching his head and then he did that and sat there for like 2 seconds and ran away twitching and binkying do you think he just thought i was going to put him up? Because we have been busy lately and i have not been able to get him out. :/ and it was kinda vibratie sorry that is not a word

        Thanks

        Anne

Was his ears back when he grunted?

Mine do this both when playing AND when mad. Grunting/growling noise. I can usually tell if they’re mad or just playing by how their ears are positioned. Flat back against his head means he’s angry!

One of my buns does that as well – along with the grunting. Just check his ears next time, that’s the quickest way to know!

I do have one who will grunt and lunge when he doesn’t notice you’re there or you move too fast around him. Maybe you startled him!

Link, our bun, started grunting when he was only a few months old, while playing… It would normally happen just before a binky…

Now, though… He grunts ALL the time… He hasn’t been well and has turned into a right grumpy little thing…
