Cookie started sneezing yesterday. Her nose seems wet afterward but I havent seen any colored boogies. This morning I realized she started sneezing after I put hay in her bowl..Hmmmm….dusty Hay perhaps? It is a new company I started purchasing it from last week.

It’s probably dust from the hay or she might have fur stuck up her nose. Try to shake out as much dust from the hay as you can. You can buy dust extracted hay. How often does she sneeze? You need to go to the vet and they will probably prescribe her with a powder or medicine to loosen up the fur and make it easier to sneze out. Check her paws to see if there is any dried up snot on them.

How is your bunny doing now? Dusty hay can def cause sneezing. If she is still sneezing after the hay is removed it could be due to a medical problem like a Upper Respirator Infection and will need vet attention.

Well over the weekend I checked her closely. She doesnt have anything on her paws or face but every time I put new hay out its a sneeze fest. Poor Cookie. She plays and eats and poops just fine…
