I noticed that my boy Hyde has worms today. I’m taking him to the vet tomorrow to get treatment, because he’s not being himself and I’m having a hard time not wanting to take him to an emergency vet. He’s still eating and drinking, just very lethargic. I got a bun from a shelter within the last week, and we still aren’t close enough for me to hold her (Aaliyah) to check her for worms. Aaliyah has a pen next to Hyde’s hutch. Should I move her to a different area to quarantine Aaliyah from Hyde? I don’t want to disrupt her getting used to the house but I really don’t want her to get worms. Aaliyah seems fine, just worried about Hyde and staying by his pen.

It might be an idea to take them both to the vet for a check up and treatment. There are no guarantee’s that the worms have not already been spread by your touch or general proximity to each other… As Aaliyah is new to your house a baseline check from your vet is always advised even when a bunny comes from a shelter.
Did the shelter say that she had been wormed previously ? Just something to check before going to the vet.
