Forum BONDING Should I clean bonding area between dates?

        I’ve got another thread going with my bonding journal (“Bonding 2 boys…”) but have a quick question.

        Should I be cleaning out the bonding area (x-pen in living room) between dates?  My boys spent 7.5 hours in there yesterday (first time in this spot) and did great, with lots of eating, napping, snuggling, and also a lot of mounting by one bunny (Sebastian).  The other bunny (JoJo) didn’t get upset about the mounting.  He allowed it for a bit then ran away.

        They’ve both pooped all over the enclosure and peed in the litter box.  Sebastian also peed on the blanket that’s in there.

        Is it better to make it neutral again?  Or just leave it as-is for the next session?
