my rabbit is losing the fur around is shoulders by his ears, i know that the season is changing from winter to spring, is this suppose to be happening? especially in only one area? any ideas?

could it also be because of stress? i recently got a girl bunny and they haven’t interacted together because he’s not neutered but they are able to see each other to help the bonding. is this normal? to help the situation i removed him from being near her in another room. i would love some feed back

Is it coming out in tufts and leaving a much shorter coat underneath ?

How old is he? I find that growing bunnies sometimes grow faster than their fur can keep up with them and it seems to thin out right behind their ears/ neck area.

He is probably doing a spring molt. It could be some thing else, but if it is a molt (which most likely it is) the fur will grow back soon.
