So my bunny loves meadow hay, to the extent that he won’t eat any other hay if both are presented.

Should I just take the meadow hay away and see if he’ll give in to eat the other hay?

Or is that too risky if he ends up eating no hay at all?

Just let him eat the Meadow Hay if that is his preference – I only offer Timothy hay so offering just one type of hay is fine.

Oh wow ok! That simplifies it all. I thought I had to vary the hay as well… Thanks

Hay sort of varies itself unless you buy humungous amounts at the same time. Hay varies with place of growth and amount of sunshine and lots of other factors, so hay from one harvest is never exactly like the next harvest – and hay is harvested several times per season.

What Bam said! And meadow hay is just fine – my bun avoided meadow hay like the plague and only eats oaten. Funny bunny!
