So my rabbit has been “cleaning” his cage  and he grabs the bars of his hay feeder and shakes and makes all the hay fall out and I heard that it can make a rabbit sick if he eats the hay off the ground I don’t see why because he is potty trained is it true that he cant eat hay off the ground? And the cage has been a mess lately O_O Is there anyway to make your rabbit stop messing up his cage probaly not but Geez his cage has been a mess lately

        Thanks

        Anne

No, eating hay off the ground will not make a rabbit sick.

Totally fine to eat hay off the ground-is there any other way?

Eating hay off the ground should not make your bunny sick, if the cage is kept reasonably clean.
