My rabbits are litter trained, in that they only pee in the cage. The trouble recently is that the eldest has started leaving vast amounts of pellets on my carpet around the cage, but not in other parts of the house. Occasionally the youngest does it too. It really only seems to happen after about 5pm. What can I do to stop him, short of locking him in the cage from 5pm onwards?

Are they neutuered? Rabbits generally like keeping their areas clean. Your rabbits may also dropping pellets around the cage to mark his territory. Just keep putting their pellets in the litter box to maybe hint your rabbit that he needs to go in there.

Yes, they were neutered at a good age. I’ll try that.
