I just started having ‘movie night’ with Max again, like I use to do when he was a baby bun. Basically, He will hop around my bed, while I watch a movie. I stopped because he started peeing on the blankets. Now I figured he’d be over that phase, I covered my bed with towels just in case and… Well, even though he had the luxury of having a litterbox on my bed- He preferred to leave a little spot on the towel (just a small spot, and didn’t smell at all- thank goodness) and a few trails of poop here and there. He generally is a pretty good at going in the litter box in his playpen, or cage… But when it comes to my blankets, and even towels- They end up being peed on.
Any tips on training him to go in the litterbox when on my bed?

How old is he? Has he been neutered? It sounds like he could be reaching the teenage bun stage, where all litter habits are forgotten

Some buns always pee on blankets, towels, couches, and beds bc they just like peeing on soft surfaces. This can be regardless of whether or not they are fixed and how old they are. Some just do it forever… If it’s a habit at this point, it might not stop. Your only recourse would be either dealing with it, or not letting him on the bed at all.

I’ve never had a rabbit that I could get to NOT pee on a bed. Even if they were perfect with every other piece of furniture in the house, the bed is a pee magnet. I just don’t let mine in the bedroom anymore.

Some people put shower curtain on their couches beds or what not to keep them from peeing on these items.

I used to keep a huge trash bag on one particular couch cushion Cotton insisted on peeing on.  I kept it on their for months. When I finally took it off he never peed on it again.

If it is multiple things your bun is peeing on this might not work for you.
