        Hi,
So Cookie does not really like store bought treats.I have tried the oxbow simple rewards. He only likes fresh fruit from home. Don’t worry I only give him a very small amount once a month. I have given him apple, strawberry, grape, raspberry, and banana. He loved them all. But my question is, is it okay to give him all fruits including pineapple and watermelon? If it is okay, is it okay to give him dried fruit. I buy these really good dried pineapple rings and its only ingredient is dried pineapple. Would it be okay to give a small piece to him?
        thanks!!!

Friut is really better than store bought treats anyway. I cannot think of any fruits that are safe for humans that are not safe for bunnies except for the obvious ones: lemons, limes, etc.
Dried fruit is great! Give small bits!

Pineapple is fine…I give my buns one Dole Pineapple Tidbit (along with about a teaspoon of juice) every other day or so. Banana or apple (a slice about the sice of a quarter) once a week…maybe that’s too much but I’ve been doing it for years.

LOL, Cookie is just a big weirdo! “Don’t worry Cookie I still love you!”, I just said this aloud to him. He is picky about everything, his toys, hay, veggies, hideys, treats, and…etc Maybe I spoiled him with juicy treats so when I gave him a dry treat he refused.

Oh, Oh. I’ve been feeding Velvet dehydrated banana’s, and pineapples, like 5-6 a day. She never shows signs of bowel problem, though, had a big problem when she was about 2-3 yo, was feeding wal-mart pellets, with all the “crap” in them, she had a quite a cecal problem, but, not a bit eating all the dehydrated fruit. She won’t eat banana’s or pineapples not dehydrated.

Is this to many “dehydrated fruits, lately she’s really been asking for a lot of these. Her turds are softening, and ending up where she doesn’t intend, (at least I hope), sooooooooooo, I started with 2 banana slices, and maybe 4 pineapple slices a day. Too much?
