Wow, I have been posting a lot of questipons lately. Anyways, How do I clip Cookies’ nails? I got to clip 1 paw and 1/2 when I distracted him with a treat. He refuses to go into a trance so I can’t do that. Do I need to space out the trimmings or do I do it all in one day? Also, do I have to clip the back? I was looking at his back nails and they were flat from running on the concrete but the top layer is all splayed out where it is flat. Do I still have to clip it? I’ll try to get pictures soon.

I would get someone to hold your bunny for you and then try and clip their nails. I got tired of trying to cut my rabbit’s nails and have my vet do it for me. Someone holds them and they clip them even the bottom nails.

Nobody likes to hold my bunny except me because he pees on them. So, I have to do it myself. Any ideas on how to do it myself?

Place him on a foreign surface like a counter, table, or even washing machine. The slippery surface will likely make him hesitant to move around. Then pull one foot out at a time and clip clip clip.

                Okay I’ll try that tomorrow!
