I have a toy set up with a concrete form tube running up into a ball pit. George Bunny never had a problem with it, but the new buns I’ve just adopted were hutch bunnies who didn’t get a lot of exercise (they’re also bigger). They keep losing their footing in the tube and falling out rump first, which is hysterical but apparently mildly traumatic. I’ve been thinking about getting the bun run from the binky bunny store or maybe putting carpet in there. Anybody got ideas on what might work?

I think the bun run flooring would be good, if you lay it in the tube it would provide traction and weigh the tube down and keep it from rolling.
Another thing that I think would work (if your bunnies aren’t chewers) would be yoga mats cut to size.

Bun run would be good – that way they could get the benefit of the hidey hole run and the exercise.

I don’t imagine it would be easy to cut a strip out of the concrete forms so that they could kind of lie on the flooring and still have the benefit of it – It’s another idea though if it makes sense to you what I am trying to say.

My rabbit Bobby also likes the wicker “tents” to hide in and run through. Which is I guess closer to the tunnel haven.

LEL, The yoga mat idea worked like a charm (I actually used shelf liner because its cheaper and basically the same thing). The new buns love the ball pit.

Sarita, I love the willow tents. My guys will go crazy for them. I know what’s going to be in someone’s Easter basket…
