  Brought home the little lionhead baby. The shelter named her Xena since she was the only surviving rabbit in her litter and they said she needed a warrior name.
  
  She is currently in the bottom half of a ferret nation since she is a bit skittish and Enki’s cage is in a really high traffic area.
  
  Here are some pics I took shortly after bringing her home. They are all of her exploring her cage.
  
  Please excuse the ancient chewed up litter box.

  Enki is extremely happy right now. He is out playing with her (don’t worry I am taking pictures!) and is currently eating hay all by himself!
  
  I am terrible with colors. On her adoption papers they have her color listed as sable point marten. But then again there is a japanese harlequin at the same shelter that someone listed as calico.
  
  She is more of a bunny’s bunny than a people bunny. She will let me pet her but only if I am filling her food bowl. Lol.

  Well that will work great for Enki ! Be hard for you though. I’d be wanting to touch her fur constantly.
  
  On her adoption papers they have her color listed as sable point marten.
  
  I did see the little bit of white under her nostrils but couldn’t see any other white. Does she have white belly & under tail?

  She does have a white belly and it is white under her tail.
  
  Here are a couple of pics of Enki and Xena playtime. It was short since I don’t want to stress her out.
  
  At first Enki was being a butt and wouldn’t let her move much.
  
  Trying to eat my blanket…
  
  This is pretty much what Enki does he follows her around as closely as possible.
  
  My favorite picture. They stayed in this position for 10 minutes. Enki would occasionally move enough to groom her ear but that’s it.

  Enki is being extra nice. He was never this nice to the other boys. Lol. But he also has no problem showing his dominance which Xena doesn’t seem to mind for now.
  
  I think she is warming up to me petting her. Mainly because I hold her food in my hand and pet her while she eats. =P
  
  The biggest plus to it all is I have not had to tube feed Enki or force feed water.

  Well Xena is staying whether she and Enki bond or not. I’ve gone and got myself attached. And she is keeping the Xena name mainly because I laugh every time I call a rabbit Xena.
  
  She still isn’t completely sure about my house so when I let her out she goes straight to my bed and that is where she plays and sleeps until I put her back.
