So I thought I had two girl bunnies (and my older one is getting fixed later in the month) anywho I saw them humping but since I knew girl bunnies still humped stuff I wasnt too concerned but I did separate them and looked again to sex them since the breeder had originally done so. Well my humping older bunny is def a dude balls n all. Sooooo they’re separated but im wondering my lil girl if she is pregnant how soon would me or a vet be able to tell.  Id really like to not have a liter of buns lol but if the deed is done oops. I know we dont discuss breeding but just wanted some general info on pregnancy and maybe pointed to some threads where there is accidental liters and how to care just in case thats the case. (Feel free to move my thread if its in the wrong place) um also any ideas how to get my older bunny to stop chewing on the baseboards lol driving me nuts have done lemon around the areaa but only worked for a day and now even when I do it again he seems used to it :-/ he has other toys to play with and is absolutely destroying his cottage but the baseboards he is so drawn too lordy!!!

        Thanks ahead of time ♥

Rabbit gestation is approximately 30 days which makes it very difficult to tell in the beginning – how long have they been separated? How old is the female? It’s possible she is old enough to get an emergency spay to terminate the pregnancy.

I literally just figured out today that the older one is a male I separated them last night when I noticed the older one was constantly trying to hump her. Shes about 10 to maybe 11 weeks old.

At 11 weeks old she should still be too young to conceive… Although there have been rare instances and providing the breeder gave you the correct age… Once you get past 12 weeks the possibility increases and at 16 weeks there is a 99.8% chance of conception. Just remember your boy will still be fertile for 4-5 weeks follwoing his neuter and they are also creative and can do it through the bars if the desire is strong enough…..

I agree with the others, at less than 16 weeks, chances are she’s not pregnant. It is good that you separated them tho!
