        Hi there!

this is my first post! First off forgive my English I’m Italian!

My bunny is 3 – 4 months old (we don’t know for sure!) he did the myxo vaccine in february and the MEV (I don’t know if it is like this in English too) two weeks ago. Before going to the vet for the vaccine he was a perfect little bunny.. Now from two weeks he has a little scab on the ear and one above the eye. They don’t grow. We saw two vets one said that it is fungus, but no tests were done, the other one did a test and was not mange and in the opinion of the vet it is neither a mycosis or fungus. His hypothesis is that it was the stress of the vet or a reaction to the vaccine or he hurt himself. He is not scratching that much and seems just fine. Any hint?

        Thanks for your help!

It could be any of those things your vet suggested. Can you post a picture of it?

Fur around is a little bit yellow/brow because of the betadine that the vet advised

I can’t really see much too well, but usually scabs are caused by mites, which cause excessive scratching. It sounds like you have been to a few different vets, none of them gave a definite answers?

Some do react to the vaccine. Did some lumps come up before the scabs?

Has the fur above the eye been trimmed or did it go bald then start growing back?

Both vet said is not mites one also take a test and did not found anything. I did not noticed any lumps but the area is soo small that could have been unnoticed. I think that the fur is growing back.

On the ear the scab went away and there is just a patch of dry skin. The first vet took out some fur saing it was coming out so easily but seems to me that bunny fur do come off easily  if u pull it.. by the way the last vaccine was Vhd mev in Italian and I forgot to say that he had areaction with a scab on the point  of the injectin that fell in a week, the area around that  is still bald. Thank you for all your answer and sorry for my spelling but I am writing  ffrom mobile
