Licorice was neutered this week (March 26th.) The week of April 13th – we are gone on vacation. When we come back the week of the 20th – I would like to attempt to try and begin bonding/ tolerance lessons with Chipper and Licorice. They are great with that screen between them – still sit side by side and groom. Chipper is getting all into something – ripping it apart right now – Licorice is sitting here watching attentively. So I think there is hope for them to at least co-mingle.

        Thoughts? Is this too soon?

I would definitely wait the whole month after the neuter if you can. It sounds like they will get along great, but it can’t hurt to wait. If you think they are ready, however, you can do it. Only you know your bunnies well enough to tell.

I agree. It does sound like they could be best bunny buds! I was lucky in that my two buns are from the same litter so not much needed lol. they were pretty bonded to begin with. Though here n there if they are out in the open together they get a lil fiesty in trying to assert their dominance by way of humping… (both are altered). But from what i’ve read is that pretty much just take it slow and keep a close eye on em. i think if they hated eachother you would know by them trying to attack through the screen.
