Over the last two days Shamus has started chasing my poor Peach. Two things have changed the first being i have cut down their pellets because i am introducing new oxbow peletts and then the arrival of my new bunny. (He is in a seperate cage and they cant see him)

I am really at a loss as to what to do. I am terrified he is going to hurt her or she is going to run in to something while she is panacking and running away. It doesnt happen constantly but a few times a day.

Do they fight? Does she have somewhere to get away? Some chasing can be perfectly normal in bonded pairs and while it’s not really fun for the one being chased, it’s not necessarily harmful either if the chaser doesn’t actually bite them.

I would guess he’s agitated because he knows there’s a new bunny in the house.
